Vessel Visitor Safety Briefing

Posted by Jason on September 22, 2010

I just want to send a reminder out to all vessel crewmembers that Carline requires you to review the Vessel Visitor Safety Briefing with all non-crewmembers that board your vessel.  This includes other Carline employees, vendors, suppliers, inspectors, divers, U.S. Coast Guard personnel, etc.  It is imperative that you check ID's and TWIC cards prior to visitors boarding your vessel.  You must also have them sign the log identifying that they are onboard and under the supervision and escort of the crew.  You are to then go over the Visitor Safety Briefing with them.  Let's get in the habit of doing this so that it becomes routine, as this is for everyone's safety and well-being.  If for some reason your vessel does not have a laminated copy of the Vessel Visitor Safety Briefing or the drawings of the vessel's general arrangement (floor plans), get in touch with Jason Wilson and he'll send you a new copy.  I thank you in advance for your help and cooperation with this matter.
